Minttu Pietilä

Minttu Pietilä graduated from Balett Akademie in Stockholm 2010. After graduation, Minttu has worked in many stage productions (Ooppera Skaala, Svenska Teatern, Finnish National Opera) and in contemporary dance productions including works by Satu Tuomisto, Joona Halonen, Johanna Nuutinen, Iiro Näkki and Ismo-Pekka Heikinheimo. During 2020 and 2021 she has worked as a guest dancer in a co-production between Dance Theatre Minimi and Pori Dance Company, as well as in Dance Theatre MD and Susanna Leinonen Company.

Minttu has been teaching contemporary dance since 2011 in several dance schools in Helsinki. In recent years, Minttu has also made several dance video works in which the visual narrative of movement is emphasized.
