RAW – triple bill
An evening of three works by Susanna Leinonen Company at the Erkko Hall draws a powerful arc across the group’s nearly 25-year journey. This three-part performance showcases Leinonen’s distinctive and expressive choreographic style, marked by physical precision, emotional intensity, and a bold approach that pushes the boundaries of movement, blending ballet and contemporary dance. The evening offers a rare opportunity to dive into the artistic world of one of Finland’s most influential contemporary dance makers – to see where it all began and what new is emerging right now.

“Finnish choreographer Susanna Leinonen’s stunning trickle green oak conjured up a surreal realm where bodies broke with the sounds of icebergs crashing into the sea. In this amazing fusion of butoh and ballet.”
