Reviews

  • The revelation of the evening was Finnish choreographer Susanna Leinonen’s duo Chinese Objects. - "It was one of those rare total theatre events where all the elements combined to sharpen and delight the senses, leaving you exhilarated and desperately pleased you made the effort to get there." Maggie Foyer Dance Europe 2005
  • The dancer is not an object! - "[...] Susanna Leinonen, whose intricate deconstructive choreographic language has a refreshing contemporary Finnish punk/goth feeling." Lena Andrén Ballet-Tanz November 2005
  • Cool women, emotional men - "Leinonen's dance work is again a total art work in which every element has an equally large effect on the end result as the choreography itself." Jussi Tossavainen Helsingin Sanomat 29.1.2009
