“Under sharp light, the contours of the bodies are marked. Streaks of light along the arms, the crown of the head illuminated point-by-point with the face in darkness. Sketches rather than entire figures. One by one, the dancers step out into the light while the crowd remains in the background, biding their time as blissfully trampling shadow creatures. A threatening and unsettling touch and a subtly composed composition. A play with what we see and what we only suspect that can be – interpreted purely existentially.“
