The movement language of Disturbed Silence is characteristic to the choreographer Susanna Leinonen: strong, deep and penetrating. Detailed, descriptive movement is combined with pulsating energy. Strict form and freely bursting energy alternate, emphasizing the individuality of the stage characters. The intensity of the work and its strong montages create a surrealistic world, define by a comminuted narrative, technically challenging movements and expressive physicality.
