Olli-Pekka Koivunen

Lighting designer Olli-Pekka Koivunen has studied in the Theatre Academy of Finland’s Department of Lighting and Sound Design. He has worked in Hämeenlinna City Theatre from 1985–1994 and in the Finnish National Opera as the head of lighting and as a designer since 2000.

In the Finnish National Opera he has designed the lighting for e.g. The Barber of Seville and King Lear, as well as several dance works including Per Jonsson’s Ur and Jorma Uotinen’s Third Night.
